Membership offers terms and conditions

  1. Eligibility: The free trial offer ("Offer") is available to new supporters who meet the eligibility criteria outlined below. The Offer is subject to acceptance of these terms and conditions ("Terms").
  2. Offer Details: The Offer provides eligible supporters with a 1 Year free trial of the Marine Conservation Society digital membership. The free trial period begins on the date of activation and ends 12 months after.
  3. Eligibility Criteria: The Offer is available to new supporters only. Supporters must provide valid payment information when signing up for the free trial.
  4. Billing and Payment: Supporters will not be charged during the free trial period. At the end of the free trial period, the supporter's payment method will be automatically charged for the monthly subscription fee of £5, unless the supporter cancels 10 working days before the trial period ends. Supporters are responsible for cancelling their subscription before the end of the free trial period to avoid charges.
  5. Cancellation: Supporters can cancel their subscription at any time during the free trial period without incurring any charges up to 10 working days before the trial period ends.   6. Usage Restrictions: The free trial period is for evaluation purposes only and cannot be used for any commercial, business, or resale purposes. Supporters must not share their account credentials with others or engage in any unauthorized use of the product.
  7. Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Offer and these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms on our website.
  8. Privacy: The collection and use of supporter data during the free trial period are governed by our privacy policy.
  9. Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from the use or inability to use the free trial. We do not provide any warranties or guarantees regarding the availability, functionality, or suitability of our digital membership service during the free trial period.
  10. By signing up for the free trial, supporters acknowledge that they have read and understood these Terms and agree to comply with them.
